At AQUASAFE, we take the use of lead in products, which is not permitted in Germany, very seriously. Because lead is harmful, it has also been banned. It is not without reason that we filter lead out of tap water with our osmosis systems. Nevertheless, there are suppliers of taps on the market who do not adhere to this ban and have lead built into the taps. This is why we address this issue in such detail and see it as a sad benefit for us.
Three pipes in one water tap. The unfiltered water (hot and cold) flows through two of the pipes. The filtered water, on the other hand, flows through its own separate supply pipe so that it does not come into contact with the unfiltered water.
No. In this case, a 4-way water tap is required. Alternatively, you can also switch to a 1-way fitting from AQUASAFE fall back on.
With a 3-way tap, the existing fitting on the sink can simply be replaced. With a 1-way tap, on the other hand, an additional hole is needed in the sink to install the tap. Two taps are then visible on the sink.
