The Avenjar is installed next to the existing faucet on the sink. Only the filtered water is pumped through this faucet and therefore runs separately from the faucet for unfiltered service water.
It is much cheaper to buy than a 3-way faucet.
Generally, yes, but it requires some manual dexterity. Namely, for the installation will need a hole in the sink, which must be made with the help of a drill. Those who are not confident in this step themselves, should get help for this or consider a 3-way faucet, if necessary.
