Plastic in our body

Protect yourself and the next generations

Do you know that every day you take tiny tiny plastic particles, called micro-plastics, over the air, your clothes, your food and especially about the drinking water?

This is the result of a worldwide study called "No Plastics in Nature: Assessing Plastic Ingestion from Nature to People," at the University of Newcastle Australia, commissioned by the WWF.

It's about a week on average as much plastic as a credit card weighs (about 5g). This is not only disturbing, but also potentially harmful to your health. We subconsciously record up to 2000 small plastic parts every week. Unconsciously?

The fact that we produce too much plastic waste is no secret - it is an essential part of our everyday lives. The high consumption and the resulting garbage are the reason that too much plastic uncontrolled in nature and thus get into the cycle. The dissemination across borders happens through rivers, the air and the rain. And of course these small particles get into the groundwater.

What can you do?

For one thing, we can all reduce and sustain the ever-growing consumption of plastic waste by using alternative materials that will not hurt the environment.

For example, avoid buying plastic water bottles and products that are excessively packed in plastic. In Germany, our tap water has also reached a quality that is in question.

Our products from AQUASAFE ensure that you have filtered tap water available that is free from harmful substances, bacteria and micro-plastics. This is done by means of a membrane that filters out in multiple stages all the ingredients that have lost nothing in our body. Protect yourself, because nothing is more valuable than your own health!

Discover our product variety of water filters - e.g. the AS 5000 or our FL 300 and make the first step towards a plastic-free environment. If you have any questions about our water filter systems or any other product, our team is at your disposal to answer the questions.
